Mana base will certainly need tweaking, otherwise I’m happy with everything except the lack of card draw (It’s been decided that Ponder is no good for control). Think Twice would be good if I could find room. The only thing I feel I could even argue against being necessary is the Dismember, so maybe those should be Think Twice instead. I would -1 Timely Reinforcements, -1 Day of Judgement, -2 Dissipate, maybe -1 Oblivion Ring. Going green just for the Mayor is not worth it in my opinion.
Drop down the number of reinforcements and o rings can always put a couple in the side board. Drop the mayor reconsider ponder and consider deathcoil wurm engine
Also on brainburst.com there are a few control decks that are listed that did well at the scg open indy I would use them as guide. Your deck listed above just has far too much going on in it.
Maybe cut 2 dismember for two think twice. think twice is just so good vs opposing players who feel like playing around countermagic. plus, it would rectify the lack of card advantage. I’ve never been impressed with multiple dismember, and you have oblivion ring and doj to take care of problem creatures. Plus, vs very fast aggro taking 4 from a dismember is pretty bad. love the dissipate/mana leak/snapcaster countermagic trio, i’ve had success with that too. looks good, i may just test this out.
